About Yorkton Podiatry and Orthotics Clinic.

We are fortunate to have teamed up with Nicole and the Simplistic Health team. The clinic started in 2017 after the regulated closure of all publicly funded podiatry programs and was headed by Dr Janet Simpson. Sadly she has hung up her "scalpel" and has started a new chapter in her retirement.

Please rest assured that we recognize that she has left a legacy of care and compassion. The doctors who are now here to serve you and your community share her passion for foo health and recognize that the most important part of treating feet, is treating the person whose feet we have the privilege to have in front of us.

We believe in constant learning and our doctors have taken numerous extracurricular courses to make them experts in fields such as Biomechanics, Musculoskeletal injuries, Diabetes, Wound care Soft tissue nail surgeries and more.

Dr. Hugh Juma

Dr Juma spent his formative years growing up in Weyburn Saskatchewan. He spent some time in Regina and also in the Canadian Armed Forces training and working as a paramedic. He had a love for medicine and found his passion in Podiatry. He completed his studies in Canada and cam back to Saskatchewan which is where he has been helping the residents of many communities. |He is currently also working with the Regina family foot clinic but had spent the prior 18 years working for the Saskatoon health region in their public podiatry clinic.
