About Yorkton Podiatry and Orthotics Clinic.
This private clinic started in 2017 after the regulated closure of all publicly funded podiatry programs. Initially it was headed by Dr Janet Simpson. Sadly she has hung up her "scalpel" and has started a new chapter in her retirement. You might find her on a pickle ball court and recognize her enthusiasm and laughter.
Please rest assured that we recognize that she has left a legacy of care and compassion. Dr Juma is now here to serve you, and your community. He shares her passion for foot health and recognizes that the most important part of treating feet, is treating the perso in front of him!

Dr. Hugh Juma
Dr Juma spent his formative years growing up in Weyburn Saskatchewan. He spent some time in Regina and also in the Canadian Armed Forces training and working as a paramedic. He had a love for medicine and found his passion in Podiatry. He completed his studies in Canada and cam back to Saskatchewan which is where he has been helping the residents of many communities. |He is currently also working with the Regina family foot clinic but had spent the prior 18 years working for the Saskatoon health region in their public podiatry clinic.
